The main event of NXT tonight (Nov. 13) was a ladder match between Io Shirai and Mia Yim to decide which team gets the advantage in their WarGames match.
But that wasn’t the first time the women in that TakeOver: WarGames bout were featured on tonight’s episode. Earlier in the night, we saw Tegan Nox and Rhea Ripley were attacked outside and left laying. That could have led the audience to believe it was a move by Shayna Baszler and her WarGames team. But then later on, we saw Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir were down as well.
Surely Shayna wouldn’t attack her own friends. Was this an invasion from Raw or SmackDown?
This isn't good.

That was put on the back burner for the main event, which saw Io Shirai defeat Mia Yim (who took a nasty bump from the top of the ladder through another ladder down to the floor) with the help of NXT UK champion Kay Lee Ray.
Bianca Belair joined Io and Kay Lee in the ring as Baszler walked out and applauded, indicating the UK champ would be her fourth member in WarGames.
That’s when SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley attacked.

She ambushed Shayna from behind with a chair, dropped her face first on the title, and then ran off as the show went off the air. The NXT crowd reacted in shock, likely partially due to the fact this is a very different Bayley than they remember.
The women’s Survivor Series battle has made its way to Full Sail. Could we see Becky Lynch do the same next week?
