Look, Chris Jericho is going through some things right now, okay?
In the main event of this week’s episode of Dynamite, Jericho and Sammy Guevara challenged SCU for the AEW Tag Team titles. The match itself was way better than it had any right to be.
In the end it was Scorpio Sky who got the best of Jericho. That’s right, Sky helped his team retain the titles with a quick roll up on Le Champion and in the process became the first man to score a pinfall over Jericho in AEW.
Wow.
That’s a huge spot to put Sky in, and you have to assume AEW views him as a possible breakout star down the line.
As for Jericho? AEW’s youngest World Champion ever did not take the loss well.

Jericho was inconsolable, nearly on the verge of real tears, before he started trashing the AEW ringside. Just a 49-year-old grown man working through his issues.
Nothing to see here.

Are you surprised that AEW’s top guy ate the pin here? Also, are you surprised Scorpio Sky was the first man to pin Chris Jericho in AEW?
