BOOM! Adam Cole upsets The Fiend

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week’s nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - the Nov. 4 episode of Monday Night Raw, Tuesday’s Impact, AEW DARK & NWA Powerrr, Dynamite & NXT from Wednesday, Thurs., Nov. 7’s NXT UK & Beyond’s Uncharted Territory, SmackDown & 205 Live on Fri., Nov. 8, Saturday’s AEW Full Gear PPV, this week’s ROH TV, and any other televised or internet streaming wrestling that aired from Nov. 3 - 9, 2019.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

When ole H-B-Shizzle does your entrance like a fanboy?

You might be going places, kid.

  • The Panama City Playboy actually defeated the new Universal champ by a sizeable margin... the benefit of being the main event of the cool show on Friday as opposed to the main event of the cursed one on Thursday that gave us the cool show on Friday, I guess.
  • Cole’s dance partner got (and deserved) a lot of love, as did the rogue Irishman who’s been - intentionally? incidentally? - assisting him on NXT.
  • Finn got votes for a sick promo on Oct. 30, which is the same reason Mox did.
  • That Wednesday night was a good one for the ladies, including the Tag champs for a successful defense, and one of the captains of a historic WarGames match (who also submitted a Goddess on SmackDown).
  • You were excited Impact crowned a new World champ... not that he cares what you think.
  • Before she retained her belt in Florida, the Pirate Princess tapped to The Man in Missouri.

The S3: 2019 - 20, Week 30

Points in our weekly Standings determine our annual list - full details on rules and scoring HERE.

Where The Fiend closed the gap at the top a bit, and The Prince continued to push his way up the ranks in the back half of the top ten...

The S3 Performer of the Year - through the Week ending Nov. 2

1. Becky Lynch - 154
2. Bray Wyatt - 134
3. Bayley - 69
4. Jon Moxley - 60.5
5. Sasha Banks - 56
6. Kofi Kingston - 55.5
7. Seth Rollins - 51.5
8. Finn Bálor - 50.5
9. Kevin Owens - 49
10. Chris Jericho - 43.5

AEW, WWE’s Raw, SmackDown & NXT, New Japan, ROH, the world of lucha libre, MLW, the NWA... there’s just SO MUCH WRESTLING! It’s awesome (and I almost forgot to mention the wider world of the the indies - if you read Sermon on the Mat every Thursday, though, you won’t forget them).

How can you keep it all straight? We don’t know, but do what you do and tell us what you liked. We’ll handle the rest.
