Rumors for the Day:

  • Since announcing The Rock’s appearance, overall sales and prices on the secondary market for tickets to tomorrow’s SmackDown in Los Angeles have jumped.
  • An Instagram story Nikki Bella posted recently led fans to believe she & Brie will be on SmackDown’s Fox premiere tomorrow night.
  • Based on advertising for upcoming Brock Lesnar appearances, it appears his feud with Kofi Kingston may run through Oct. 31’s show in Saudi Arabia.
  • New Japan is planning a Chris Jericho vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi match for next January’s Wrestle Kingdom 14, says Sports Illustrated.
  • ROH’s Bandido, who missed last weekend’s post Death Before Dishonor tapings due to injury, underwent knee surgery this week, according to PW Insider. They say he’s been working injured for a while. He’s expected to be out 7 - 8 weeks.
