- WrestleVotes notes that one source said the belief is CM Punk won’t be returning to WWE anytime soon but that eventually he will.
- On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that the angle and promo surrounding Brock Lesnar attack Rey Mysterio could be a way to lead to something between Lesnar and Cain Velasquez.
- FOX is a lot more hands on with WWE than USA Network, says the Observer.
- Per Meltzer, the Hulk Hogan/Ric Flair segment on Raw this week had the best segment-by-segment numbers in “a long time.”
- According to SI, Ring of Honor “is offering bigger names more money to stay.” Marty Scurll could benefit greatly from outside interest, as the company is motivated to keep him.
