Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.
Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.
We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.
Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - the Dec. 31 episode of Monday Night Raw, SmackDown on Tues, Jan. 1, NXT UK, 205 Live, NXT & ROH TV from Wednesday, Thursday's Impact Wrestling, New Japan’s Wrestle Kingdom 13 & New Year’s Dash!! pay-per-view (PPV)s and any other internet streaming wrestling that aired from Dec. 30, 2018 - Jan. 5, 2019.
Make YOUR mark, smarks!
It was the most wonderful time of the year...

- Christmas was his day, and you rewarded the new U.S. champ with lots of votes.
- The blue brand’s Dec. 25 also brought a sleigh full of votes to the newest member of that roster for a win over a former NXT champ, and an angle where the former WWE champ punched and yelled at the Chairman.
- She wasn’t on TV, but such is the allure of The Man - and her social media prowess - that she places anyway.
- On Boxing Day, The EST became the #1 contender to NXT’s Women’s title.
- Twas the night before Xmas, and several Raw Superstars were stirring up votes. By doing things like swinging a cello & dumping egg nog on a manager, winning a Triple Threat, and delivering a compelling, called-on-the-fly main event.

Lots of action from Tokyo gives us a larger than average poll. Before you dive into that or comment voting, make sure you didn’t forget any of the action from the first week of 2019 with our sections on Raw, Smackdown, NXT, Impact, New Japan and the wide world of indies wrestling (where Sermon on the Mat is especially useful).
Then click and type as you see fit. We’ll count it all up and see you again next Sunday!
