What Standings, b****?

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - the Jan. 14 episode of Monday Night Raw, SmackDown & 205 Live on Tues, Jan. 15, NXT UK, NXT & ROH TV from Wednesday, Evolve 119 & 120, and any other internet streaming wrestling that aired from Jan. 13 - 19, 2019.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

Did you forget about her?

  • It’s been a while, but The Boss is back in the Raw Women’s title picture... and atop your Standings.
  • And after being shut out last time, Team Red had two people in the top ten! Finn’s kind of a regular, though. Imagine how well he’ll do this week with his Rumble title shot confirmed...
  • Triple H’s newest territory got their first TakeOver, and while they couldn’t capture the top spot, the dominated this edition of The S3. Mostly with 34 of their champs, but also one of the b i g s t r o n g b o i s who failed to win the tag belts, and the first real threat to the Bruiserweight in ages.
  • SmackDown filled out the ranks, with a pair of our usual faves, and an ascendant luchador.

The S3: 2018 - 19, Week 40

1. Sasha Banks
2. Pete Dunne
3. Toni Storm
4. Becky Lynch
5. Daniel Bryan
6. Andrade “Cien” Almas
7. Finn Bálor
8. Tyler Bate
9. Zack Gibson
10. WALTER

Points in our weekly Standings determine our annual list - full details on rules and scoring HERE.

Where it’s mostly just The Man padding her lead. We will get a full Standings out for y’all soon... there’s definitely competition to get into the top ten, and lots of jockeying for position among the 125 different performers who’ve received points this year. Even if Lynch has made the annual race a laugher:

The S3 Performer of the Year - through the Week Ending Jan. 12

1. Becky Lynch - 246
2. Seth Rollins - 101.5
3. Daniel Bryan - 85.5
4. Finn Bálor - 74.5
5. Tommaso Ciampa - 66.5
6. Shinsuke Nakamura - 66
7. Drew McIntyre - 56.5
8. Ricochet - 54
9. Samoa Joe - 50.5
10. Mustafa Ali - 44

What rocked your boat from the last week? You know, from shows & companies like Raw, Smackdown, NXT, New Japan, Evolve and the rest of the indies... you do read Sermon on the Mat every week, right?

However you do it, give us your picks by one or both of the mechanisms below. We’ll see you on Rumble Sunday to do it all over again!
