All Elite Wrestling invaded indie show Bar Wrestling last night

If nothing else, nobody can ever accuse the crew at All Elite Wrestling of being unable to drum up interest.

Pro wrestling’s latest upstart promotion is kind of in a holding pattern until they hold their Double or Nothing event on May 25th in Las Vegas, Nevada. Looking to stay sharp, Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, Scorpio Sky, The Young Bucks, Hangman Page, Brandi Rhodes, and Cody Rhodes all made an appearance at Southern California indie federation Bar Wrestling last night (Jan. 16).

The trio of Daniels, Kazarian, and Sky were already booked in the main event but after the match is when all (elite) hell broke loose.

Trying to stop the heel team of RockNES Monsters and Eric Watts from attacking So Cal Uncensored, famous dick wrestler Joey Ryan came out to calm the situation. After that didn’t work AEW’s Hangman Page became the first of many run-ins.

Then Cody and Brandi Rhodes showed up.

To cap it all off, The Young Bucks came out to superkick everyone.

Up until last night it was looking like a relatively quite week from AEW. The signing of and story behind Chris Jericho working for the promotion had made most of the headlines. Rhodes also made some noise when he gave some insights into what the creative side of AEW may look like.

Should fans expect more All Elite Wrestling talent to show up at random indie events near them over the coming months? Is this a good strategy for AEW to keep their promotion in the news?
