Where the superstars of 205 Live and NXT are given the spotlight that they so richly deserve!

On this week's episode, the focus is all on championship glory and that big fight feel! From WWE 205 Live in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the Age of Alexander is pushed to the limit as WWE Cruiserweight Champion meets SummerSlam 2018 opponent and challenger Drew Gulak in a return match for the title. And on WWE NXT, things have come to a head between North American Champion Ricochet and the United Kingdom Champion, Pete Dunne. For the first time in the history of the brand, two champions will collide in a Title for Title, winner-takes-all extravaganza in what could be a serious contender for Match of the Year. Plus, TJP looks to get off the snide in a hard-hitting match with Lince Dorado, while Aliyah and Lacey Evans look to take the wind out of the sails of Dakota Kai and Deonna Purrazzo at Full Sail!

Join Greg the Hold and Biff Kensington as they cover this week's episodes of 205 Live and NXT. In addition, the guys bring you the latest news headlines from two of the Network's hottest properties, and they unveil the latest installment of their POWER FIVE ranking, honoring the best performers from Tuesday and Wednesday nights each week. And be on the lookout for some brand new features coming your way in the weeks to come, including some in-depth profiles on the talent YOU voted on to see profiled. There's no better way to jump start your Thursday morning than by getting full coverage of the wrestling shows you actually enjoy! And, let's be real, Greg is as tasty as a slab of Canadian bacon.

Welcome to GROUNDS FOR DEVELOPMENT, the Proving Ground of Wrestling Podcasts!

ABOUT THE SHOW...

GROUNDS FOR DEVELOPMENT is a YouTube series conceived by Cageside Seats forum members Greg the Hold (aka the Saskatchewan Spinning Nerve Hold) and Biff Kensington (co-host of THE CONNOISSEURS OF WRESTLINGseries on YouTube, 8 PM EST Monday evenings on YouTube). Our purpose is to bring you a podcast that seeks to instill some fun and joy back into wrestling, covering two of the hottest properties currently available on the WWE Network. With so much cynicism and anger in segments of the fan base, we wanted to create a show that reminded people of their love for professional wrestling. At the same time, we wanted to put a spotlight on two shows that deserve as much attention as possible. Quality wrestling should always be recognized, and that's what we're setting out to do with this new series.

Each week, we cover the results from both WWE 205 Live and NXT, giving our thoughts and opinions on the current state of each show, what we liked and dislike, and where both brands will be heading from here. We also rotate in special features from week to week, including our own version of power rankings, special honors to the week's top performers, profile pieces on the hottest talent at the Performance Center, and predictions for every major show featuring talent from Tuesday and Wednesday nights on the WWE Network. We provide our listeners with a fun, breezy show that trades in cynicism and irritation for optimism and comedy. We want to become your first, best source for news on WWE's Cruiserweight and Developmental superstars.

We post new episodes of our show each week on Thursday mornings at 10 AM EST right here at Cageside Seats, in addition to special videos that may drop on the channel from time to time. If you like what we do, and want more content like this, do us a favor and subscribe to our YouTube channel. Drop us a line over on our Twitter feed and let us know you enjoyed the show.
