ALL IN barely finished on time

Although they had said as much in the weeks leading up to the show, there was some wonder regarding what match would be given the main event slot at the ALL IN pay-per-view (PPV) from the Sears Centre in Chicago, Illinois. It ended up being exactly what they said, The Golden Elite (The Young Bucks & Kota Ibushi) vs. Rey Mysterio & Fenix & Bandido.

It’s a prestigious spot, for certain, but on this particular night, special as it was, it was a real problem.

That’s because they were running as tight as they possibly could on time. The broadcast window would close at 11 pm ET, and the rest of the show had run long. That meant the main event, where they very clearly put the match they felt could be the most fun where they would do the most, turned into a sprint to the finish.

As Nick Jackson told it after the show went off the air, the finish came with just seconds remaining:

Hey, it was their first time doing this and they really needed to get those ghost dicks in there earlier in the night!
