The main event for TakeOver: Brooklyn IV lasted less than 24 hours before it fell into complete chaos.
Originally set to be a triple threat between Aleister Black, Johnny Gargano and NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa, those plans have now changed.
After Black was mysteriously attacked off camera at the Full Sail parking lot, General Manager William Regal had to act fast. Today (Aug. 9) outside the medical facility where Black was being held, NXT’s GM announced a new title match for the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Aug. 18.
