Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.
Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.
We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.
Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - the July 29 episode of Monday Night Raw, Tuesday's SmackDown & 205 Live, Lucha Underground, NXT & ROH TV from Wednesday, Thursday's Impact Wrestling, New Japan’s G1 Climax shows, Evolve 108 and any other internet streaming wrestling that aired from July 29 - Aug. 4, 2018.
Make YOUR mark, smarks!
He’s not our NXT Champion either, Grandma Smith...
... but he is your S3, season 7 week 16 winner.
- Luckily, a woman who is an amazing babyface was right behind him. She took out Jimmy Dream, maybe she can take care of Tommy Entertainment?
- But then we’re back to the rudos, with the new #1 contender to the WWE Title and a fake baby-throwing baddie.
- Regardless of alignment, the rest of the list is here for putting in w-o-r-k... starting with the man who would probably still be the black-and-yellow brand’s top dog if we weren’t for Johnny Freaking Wrestling.
- El Ídolo kept his win streak going, The Stone Pitbull is having himself a HELL of a G1 (even before he mostly/kinda pinned the Champ), Mr. Cero Miedo gave Sami Callihan Cero Pelo and Finn, well, he was Finn.
- KO would have had a kick ass match, but he was nursing his wounds from that cage fall and running his mouth for a shot at the Money in the Bank briefcase.
