Week twelve of Lucha Underground’s fourth season will be featuring a snapper, No Mas, and a Slamtown wedding. Get ready for the action as it airs tonight at 8pm ET on El Rey Network.

If you missed last week’s show, catch up with the recap and reactions, the Tope 10, and a snazzy summary video from the Lucha Underground YouTube channel.

Here are three things I’ve got my eye on for this episode.

1. Lucha Underground Wedding

There will be a wrestling wedding. Do I really need to say anything else to sell you on watching?

The long awaited date is finally here. Tonight will be the matrimony of Taya and Johnny Mundo. Lucha Underground usually takes worn out wrestling concepts and breaths new life into them. I don’t know what to expect except awesomeness. Look at their chingonsisimo outfits.

There is no way the wedding goes off without a hitch. Who, what, when, how? I sure hope Pentagon DARK leaves them in peace. He’ll have his chance to ruin Johnny’s day in a championship defense next week.

Enjoy a message from Slamtown. Peanut butter and Johnny is harder than ever. (Air horn sounds.)

2. No Mas

The feud between Jack Evans and XO Lishus began after XO scored an upset victory. Their next physical encounter was a tag match involving Ivelisse and Joey Ryan. Evans picked up the win with a choke submission on XO. Evans was so intent on destroying XO that he wouldn’t let go after the bell. It caused Lucha Underground’s resident sleazebag, Joey Ryan, to actually do a good deed and try to talk Evans into releasing the hold. Evans shouted that it is not over until XO is dead. Evans will have his chance to do just that in a No Mas (I Quit) match.

When I saw the bout announcement of Jack Evans vs XO Lishus in a No Mas contest, I got excited. There will be no messing around. The last No Mas was bonkers as Sexy Star and Mariposa fought from pillar to post. That will be tough to top. It set the standard that Evans and XO have to reach.

This fight will show us what XO Lishus is made of. His offensive arsenal is mostly finesse. It will be interesting to see XO turn up the heat. Jack Evans will not be quick to quit. He’s too legit. If XO doesn’t have an extra gear for violence and intestinal fortitude, then he won’t last long in the Temple.

From a fan perspective, I have no idea who will win. I just can’t envision Evans quitting tonight. Maybe to someone like Mil Muertes or Matanza, but not XO. I can’t see XO losing either. Quitting from anything other than an insane level of brutality would be tough for the character to rebound from.

3. Strong

Jake Strong will take on the other half of the living Super Friends. Last week, Aerostar submitted. This week, it will be Drago’s turn.

I’m curious to see the end result of this feud. I’m guessing the next step will be a handicap match against Strong. If Strong is victorious in that, then Lucha Underground championship here he comes. If Strong loses, then... I don’t know where he goes from there. A new trios team? As long as Strong was aboard in spirit, I would favor them over the Reptile Tribe. Too bad Vibora is dead. A showdown of the giants would have been strong.

Enjoy the show tonight at 8pm ET on El Rey Network. Until then, check out the mid-season awards for season four.

Will Strong snap Drago’s ankle? Who are you picking to win No Mas? What is your craziest theory on the inevitable wedding shenanigans? Who will be the silliest looking luchador in attendance?
