I didn’t get a chance to write about the second season of Netflix’s GLOW, the dramedy based on the 1980s women’s wrestling/soap opera/variety show. There’s just so many actual wrestling programs to cover these days!
But I loved it a lot, maybe even more than season one by the time it was done. And I was with the (hopefully) millions... and millions... of fans anxiously awaiting word of a renewal which would follow Ruth, Debbie, Sam and the whole gang’s move to Las Vegas as strip club owner/proud father/wings peddler Horatio Sanz’ new live show.
It took a little while (hey, seven weeks is a long time in 2018), but the streaming giant made the call and the show’s Twitter announced the good news...
Did you think we'd GLOW to Vegas without you? Let's do this. #GLOWS3 pic.twitter.com/tZhWzOJGHu

Will Ruth and Russell’s fledging romance survive across that desert highway? Can Zoya keep her crown? How will Sam and Debbie deal with being away from their respective kids? Will Bash come out? Does that mean Ronda will get deported? Why can’t Melanie get laid? Can Tammé and Welfare Queen get some more screen time please - Awesome Kong is, well, awesome!
Ahem. Sorry.
We’ll let you know when more information or a release date for season three is available.
