Report: Rich Swann off Slammiversary

Just days ago, while wrestling for MLW, Rich Swann suffered what was believed to be a bad concussion. He was taken to the hospital but released that very same night and there was at least some hope he could work tonight’s (July 22, 2018) Slammiversary pay-per-view for Impact Wrestling.

That does not appear to be happening.

According to PW Insider, Swann is home in Florida and therefore not in Toronto for the event. He had previously been scheduled to wrestle in a Fatal 4-Way against Johnny Impact, Ishimori, and Fenix.

If Insider’s reporting is accurate, he will be replaced by Petey Williams.
