Ronda Rousey returned to the Raw commentary booth tonight (Jun. 4) and it was a bumpy road. Still getting comfortable in front of a live mic, Rousey joined Michael Cole, Corey Graves and David Otunga in calling the Nia Jax versus Natalya match on Raw.
Overall the Jax-Natalya match-up was short and sweet. The fight turned when Natalya hurt her knee running the ropes. Jax would finish off her opponent with a Samoan Drop moments after Natalya hurt her knee.
Post-match Natalya was unable to make it back to her feet. Rousey dropped her headset and ran down to the ring to check on her friend.
The Raw women’s champion still hovered over Natalya while Rousey was making her way into the ring.

Rousey was not having any of Jax’s lurking and would mean mug right in the champion’s face.

To a lesser extent, the WWE reached into the Rocky IV playbook to build upon the Rousey-Jax feud. Is inserting Natalya into the Ronda Rousey vs. Nia Jax a good idea?
