Oney Lorcan is a madman but it’s not enough to defeat the Undisputed ERA

The opening bout at NXT TakeOver: Chicago tonight (June 16) was the tag title match between champions the Undisputed ERA (Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly) and Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch.

It was an excellent match to kick off the show and the crowd was super hot for it. But one thing stuck out:

Oney Lorcan is a madman.

He was the hot tag after his partner Burch was worked over for awhile. And he came out on fire.

But that was just the beginning. It was this bump that looked like it kind of hurt.

This laid him out for awhile, but what’s the next thing he did? This!

Dude, your back! This man had no care for his body. It was all about winning the titles. He was locked in to the point that a kick from Kyle O’Reilly didn’t even phase him. It made him angry!

Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough for the team of Lorcan and Burch to wrest the gold from O’Reilly and Strong. They were able to double team Burch for the win. But Burch and Lorcan left it all in Chicago.

Now go ice that back, Oney.
