Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio announced for New Japan’s Dominion 6.9 show

He fooled most of us on the issue of if he’d return to New Japan, but Chris Jericho and NJPW aren’t waiting long to reveal when his next match in the promotion will be. Y2J’s showdown with Tetsuya Naito is coming our way next month at Dominion 6.9 in Osaka.

The latest double main event featuring the WWE part-timer was announced with the rest of the card for Osaka-jō Hall:

And he won’t be the only participant from April’s Greatest Royal Rumble match who’s on the show! While his opponent isn’t set, Rey Mysterio is making good on his promise from Strong Style Evolved and returning to New Japan:

Does that mean neither man will be back in WWE any time soon? Not necessarily... in the crazy and wonderful world of pro wrestling in 2018, it wouldn’t be shocking to see either man show up at Money in the Bank a week later.
