Jeffrey Nero Hardy, Smarks knew you’d come!

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - Impact’s Redemption pay-per-view (PPV), the April 23 episode of Monday Night Raw, Tuesday's SmackDown & 205 Live, NXT & ROH TV from Wednesday, Thursday's Impact Wrestling, WWE’s Greatest Royal Rumble PPV and any other internet streaming wrestling that aired from April 22 - 28, 2018.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

Appropriate week for a guy who can go with the flow to win...

  • A definitive victory for the latest Grand Slam champ, and free to pursue bigger singles glory now that he’s been shaken away from his brother. But another guy who talked smack on Monday then moved to Tuesday was the only person who was close.
  • Two former NXT talents made an impression by showing up on Raw during the Shakeup. One even used her famous finisher to help a veteran sell he way into the top ten.
  • Unlike the Saudi Sports Authority, The S3’s seventh season continues to be very welcoming to women. Ladies took up almost half our spots last week (and would have if not for all the ties), including the new SmackDown Champ’s party, the Lasskicker’s proper meal timing and The Boss... not losing to her frenemy and being The Boss.
  • Speaking of frenemies, Kevin Owens’ continues to be so good you can’t believe he ever worked under a mask (and he totally did... don’t @ me).
  • You all speak English well enough to appreciate a good low blow.
  • And even Smarks appreciate a hoss fight enough to throw half a point the winner (especially if it happens on the Developmental brand).

Where The Bulgarian Brute’s late season surge continues...

Well, that was certainly not a dull week! Consider the action from Raw, Smackdown, NXT, Impact (especially its PPV), the independent scene, Greatest Royal Rumble - and don’t forget to check Kyle Decker’s essential Weekly Viewing Guide if you’re worried you’re forgeting something.

Then vote! We’ll take care of the rest.
