WWE’s Instagram

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Ronda Rousey is not expected to work house shows anytime soon and even when she does, it will likely be infrequent.
  • Per the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is privately “on top of” the situation with Roman Reigns and possibly other wrestlers being accused of purchasing substances or PEDs from Richard Rodriguez. Filmmaker Jon Bravo has promised they will release information soon.
  • The Observer notes that while there were many UFC stars in the front row for Elimination Chamber, WWE issues a directive not to interview them or promote them on the show in any way.
  • SI said that Samoa Joe was one of the guys John Cena requested a match with at WrestleMania 34.
  • According to the Observer, Ronda Rousey’s husband, Travis Browne, has also trained at the Performance Center but it’s unclear if there are any plans for him to wrestle for WWE at any point.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
