Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.
Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.
Rumors for the Day:
- Undertaker vs. John Cena is still the plan for WrestleMania, and should be officially set-up next Monday on Raw.
- According to Wrestling Observer, Shane McMahon’s hospitalization is “legitimate and not part of the storyline”.
- His availability for WrestleMania is obviously in doubt, and SmackDown will likely start setting up “Plan B” for Daniel Bryan’s planned match against Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn tonight.
- Dean Ambrose has been pulled from a scheduled WrestleMania Axxess appearance, leading to speculation either he’s suffered a setback in recovery from his triceps injury or could be primed for a surprise appearance at WrestleMania.
- Brock Lesnar’s final house show appearance on his current contract is this Friday in Boston, according to Wrestling Inc. He’s not advertised for anything after WrestleMania 34.
