Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.
Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.
We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.
Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - the Mar. 19 episode of Monday Night Raw, Tuesday's SmackDown, Mixed Match Challenge and 205 Live, NXT from Wednesday, ROH TV #339, Thursday’s Impact Wrestling, New Japan’s New Japan Cup shows, and any other internet streaming wrestling that aired from Mar. 18 - 24, 2018.
Make YOUR mark, smarks!
He won’t get to be tag champs by himself, but...
- Aside from The Monster Among Men, it was a very blue week in The Standings thanks to SmackDown having a pay-per-view (PPV).
- That was particularly good for the guy who retained the WWE title, the lady who showed up to challenge for the Women’s title and the dude who won U.S. championship.
- Even though they all lost at Fastlane, it also worked out pretty well for the fellas who would go on to send the commissioner to the hospital. And the man who lost three matches on three shows during the week in question, all on the holiday named after him, too.
- He only lost one match, but The Messiah of the Backbreaker impressed in his second appearance of the week by virtue of the UK champ not rejecting his assist.
- Nice week for Brits, too, with their Heavyweight Champion and their Messiah doing big things in Japan and Germany, respectively.

Where a rare week without Roman or Sasha solidifies second place. The race might get interesting if there weren’t just four votes left in the season. Meanwhile, I’m very angry y’all ruined the immature giggle I had each week typing in AJ’s old point total, and it is in fact Rusev Day, as he jumps into the annual list, displacing Kenny Omega.
The S3 Performer of the Year - through the Week Ending Mar. 17
