Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Look for the build to John Cena’s match with Undertaker at WrestleMania to continue on Raw tonight.
  • Carmella’s Money in the Bank cash in could come at WrestleMania, according to the Backstage in WWE podcast. She’s expected to lose the match it earns her.
  • That source was also reporting that Shane McMahon will face Dolph Ziggler at WrestleMania, something which didn’t appear to be in the plans based on Fastlane.
  • Sports Illustrated says Big Show’s WWE contract expired last month, and he’s been given an agent deal to keep him from wrestling elsewhere.
  • The recent cuts from NXT came because the Performance Center “is nearing its capacity”, according to Bryan Alvarez of Observer Radio.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
