Smarks love you, Braun - for slappin’ da bass, and so much more

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - Evolve 101, the Feb. 19 episode of Monday Night Raw, Tuesday's SmackDown, Mixed Match Challenge and 205 Live, NXT from Wednesday, ROH TV #335, Thursday’s Impact Wrestling, New Japan and Ring of Honor’s Honor Rising shows, and any other internet streaming wrestling that aired from Feb. 18 - 24, 2018.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

How has no one meme-d I Love You, Man with what last week’s winner did to the guy who won the week before?

There was a bass involved! And what Braun did to it, and what he did to Elias with it, could be described as “Slappin’ Da”...

  • The winners of the Fatal 4Way that made the Men’s Elimination Chamber a 7Way also got a lot of love from voters.
  • Not as much as the loser of the latest battle in the The Boss ‘n’ Hug War, though. But those fellas got slightly more than the winner of that fight.
  • The second and third place fellas aren’t to be confused with the guy who says FELLA. He didn’t place, but the Big Dog that beat him on Feb. 12 did (as usual).
  • And, after Team Red took the first seven spots, the black-and-yellow represent with a returning Pirate Princess and the occasional Bruiserweight appearance.
  • The blue brand couldn’t steal the show, but showed off to get a point for one of the wrestlers who’ll now have a chance to take the WWE title at Fastlane.

Where the WWE Champ being stuck in a lackluster angle is keeping him stuck on a very nice number...

We’ll see you back here next Sunday for the week 47 results, and another vote.
