Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.
Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.
We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.
Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - the Dec. 3 episode of Monday Night Raw, SmackDown on Tues, Dec. 4, NXT UK, 205 Live, NXT & ROH TV from Wednesday, Thursday's Impact Wrestling, New Japan’s World Tag League shows, and any other internet streaming wrestling that aired from Dec. 2 - 8, 2018.
Make YOUR mark, smarks!
She’s the Empress of Tomorrow, and she’s...
- Impressive The Man’s newest challenger never lost her aura for fans, despite questionable booking since arriving on the main roster - and even disappearing for stretches of time over the latter half of 2018. Strong showings in the battle royal did wonders for last week’s winner and the MMA-themed wrestler she eliminated last to claim a spot in the SmackDown Women’s title match at TLC.
- The blue brand’s other representatives in last week’s Top 10 mostly got there on the mic, although the Viper did kick Rey Mysterio’s butt again after explaining why he de-masked him on Nov. 20.
- A big week for Triple H’s newest brand, as NXT UK’s new Women’s champ, their old Men’s champ, and the Irishman who gave him a hell of a fight all placed.
- That lad’s trainer made the Standings despite getting done in by DAT NUMBERS GAME run by Raw’s acting General Manager. Team Red’s Intercontinental champ also made the list for a verbal message to one old foe, and a strong showing in the ring with another.

If holiday shopping (or anything else) has you distracted from the graps this week, we’ve got your pretty well covered with sections for Raw, Smackdown, NXT, Impact & New Japan. Rev. Claire does her damndest to cover the indies for you, too (let Sermon on the Mat be your guide). And Manolo’s doing his best to cover Mexico (and MLW, too)!
However you keep up, let us know who moved you below. We’ll take it from there and see you next week to let you know how it all shook out.
