Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.
Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it’s just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. We track rumor accuracy in a weekly feature called Rumor Look Back you can find here. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.
Rumors for the Day:
- It’s at least possible there will only be one set of champions when women’s tag titles are introduced and said champs would just work both brands.
- Jason Jordan is still working as a producer for WWE and while PW Insider noted he was recently evaluated for his neck, there is still no word on a return.
- The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that the expectation is SmackDown will air live on the west coast when it moves to FOX in October.
- The Observer says Vince McMahon is “very high right now on the idea of making Mandy Rose a star.”
