Bullet Club’s WrestleMania plan to stay popular without The Elite

Even before we were counting down to the announcement of All Elite Wrestling, Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks & company announced they were no longer affiliated with Bullet Club. The New Japan faction became popular before Kenny & Cody were involved, but it was during their time with the group that shirts with the Club logo became the most prominent thing at pretty much every wrestling event in the world.

Will they be able to remain as popular without them?

After disrespectfully disrupting this year’s G1 Climax tournament and beefing with everyone from fans to management to Roman Reigns, Tama Tonga named Jay White BC’s new leader recently. That was part of the plan to stay relevant. He recently announced another part at Korakuen Hall... a tailgate party, in New Jersey on Sun., April 7, 2019. When WrestleMania 35 will be taking place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey...

The event, which has an official Twitter account which claims this “isn’t some invade the parking lot and throw up a tent event. This is gonna be at a real venue where WE call the shots, so be ready for a real party,” is being sponsored by Jimmy’s Seafood - a Baltimore restaurant which has pretty much become the U.S. equivalent of Tokyo’s Ribero Steakhouse:

The insinuation is clearly that this will take place at or near MetLife. Bullet Club will already be in the area for G1 Supercard at Madison Square Garden on Fri., April 5.

What will happen at the Block Party? And will it help keep the Club one of the hottest properties in pro wrestling?
