Truth TV takes over our poll (after a dance break, of course)

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - New Japan’s Fighting Spirit Unleashed, the Oct. 1 episode of Monday Night Raw, SmackDown on Tues, Oct. 2, 205 Live, Lucha Underground, NXT, the Mae Young Classic & ROH TV from Wednesday, Thursday's Impact Wrestling, WWE’s Super Show-Down pay-per-view (PPV), and any other internet streaming wrestling that aired from Sept. 30 - Oct. 1, 2018.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

Before we reveal last week’s winner... DANCE BREAK!!!

  • Yes, Truth is back on top. But he’s probably starting to feel some kind of way about his tag partner constantly missing the cut.
  • That’s something SmackDown’s Women’s champ never does, natch (not Naitch - the Badlass is sensitive about these things).
  • CHAOS was stabbed in the back by a Switchblade, and the G1 Climax briefcase was successful defended by a resurgent Ace against a familiar rival.
  • Much sympathy was had for an injured Riott, and for some Top Guys who still didn’t reach the mountain top, but at least got to show their stuff for a change.
  • One half of the team who beat them got some love, as did the Shield brother they tried to tempt to the dark side.
  • On the subject of the dark side, NXT’s Blackhearted champ and SmackDown’s doorbell-ringing #1 contender also made your cut.

What’s up? You tell us, after you think about everything you saw and liked (or loved) from shows and promotions like Raw, Smackdown, NXT, the MYC, Lucha Underground, Impact, New Japan, Ring of Honor and the indies. We like to use the Weekly Viewing Guide and Sermon on the Mat to make sure we’re not forgetting anything, but whatever system works for you is okay by us.

There’s no conspiracy, though. Your clicks + comments = results next Sunday.
