The Evolution PPV is a Fraud, and thus a step back

Stephanie McMahon should be ashamed. She comes out and she shills about progress and this and that and the other. And while I don't doubt that she is a force of good when it comes to progress and helping Women's WWE superstars get the standing they deserve she has come up massively short in this last endeavor.

You see, I'm placing the blame at her shoes because she is the most powerful female in the WWE and is the face of all the history making (that's what happens when you are the one delivering the news every time) from the corporate side.

The question I have is this....do we think that the WWE has put even HALF the story writing effort into this show than a normal PPV event? I'm betting not and here are just a couple glaring reasons why:

-Battle Royal. It's all been said before but this is the pinnacle of "I dunno let's just put them all in one match to make sure EVERYONE gets to participate."

-I'm certain that tonight we will find out about a "GROUNDBREAKING" Boss N Hug + Natalya vs. Riott Squad match. So groundbreaking in fact, that they have been running that exact same match on the live circuit all week.

So for our very first all Women's PPV we have told a complete story for 4 Women (Becky, Charlotte, Ronda and Nikki) and a half baked story for 4 others (Trish, Lita, Bliss and Mickie). No real angle or story for Sasha, Asuka, Bayley, Nia, Carmella, Nattie, Naomi, IIconics, Riott or any of the returning legends.

The lack of story line makes this basically a House Show that they gave the men the night off for...that is not progress.
