Rumors for the Day:

• The Observer notes the Raw and SmackDown women’s champions may not be wrestling at Royal Rumble due to every woman needing to be in the Rumble match. The obvious speculation is they will sit ringside for the match.
• There’s talk that the WWE title match at Royal Rumble will be the start of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn turning on each other.
• Bobby Roode vs. Jinder Mahal is the expected final for the US title tournament, with the former the likely winner.
• Enzo Amore is expected to return to WWE television next week and may even work the house shows this weekend, per the Observer.
• Per the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Candice LeRae is on WWE’s radar and is likely to be signed soon.
