Chris Jericho has had himself a busy past 12 months. From WWE Universal title feuds, US championship runs to the co-main event spot of New Japan Pro Wrestling Wrestle Kingdom 12, Jericho has consistently new ways to reboot his career.
Which brings us to Jericho’s feud and match with Kenny Omega at WK 12. What began as a Twitter feud quickly turned into an actual match booked for NJPW’s biggest event of the year. The build to Alpha vs. Omega pushed the limits, blurred lines and allowed for a WWE star to crossover to the world of NJPW.
Sure Jericho and Omega can create a buzz online but how would their chemistry in the ring be? After 34 minutes of shared ring time, Alpha vs. Omega met or exceeded most fans expectations.
Now the 47-year-old wrestler is taking an online victory lap.
