Rumor Roundup (Jan. 31, 2018): Women’s Royal Rumble booking, Elimination Chamber, Paige, more!

Rumors for the Day:

• On The Board at F4WOnline.com, Dave Meltzer said WWE decided to bring back a lot of women from the past back for the Royal Rumble because they were filming a documentary about the women’s evolution.
• Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Jason Jordan are all expected to be in Elimination Chamber qualifying matches next week.
• Trish Stratus was on Lilian Garcia’s podcast and they mentioned Paige is retired as previous reports have indicated and she told them WWE is going to find something else for her to do.
• According to the Observer, Adam Cole was going to be the one to answer Bobby Roode’s open challenge at Royal Rumble but that was changed because he would have had to lose a short match and they didn’t want to do that.
• Madusa kind of hinted around on her podcast that maybe Lita didn’t get clearance from WWE to wear the “Times Up” on her ring gear at Royal Rumble. She said Lita was wearing a shirt covering it all day and then took the shirt off just before going out. She says she won’t say for sure but many were saying it was sneaky.
