New, comments

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the reason WWE didn’t do an Undertaker vs. John Cena angle at Raw 25 is because it was the only chance to set up Cena vs. Elias, which is being done because of Samoa Joe’s injury.
  • Speaking of Undertaker, Wade Keller of PW Torch said a wrestler told him ‘Taker got a little lost during his promo at Raw 25 because of the small venue.
  • Per the Observer, The Miz is in line for a big push and a major match at WrestleMania 34.
  • The ultimate plan is for Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan to lose the Raw tag team titles en route to a match at WrestleMania 34.
  • According to PW Insider, WWE had originally planned to have the Peep Show segment on Raw 25 at the Manhattan Center but moved it to the Barclays.
