Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • The belief is the US Title Tournament was moved up to avoid timing issues on the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
  • It was reported by the Observer that Chris Jericho was advertised for Raw 25 before a deal between the two sides was done and it could depend on what creative is for him if it ends up happening or not.
  • Per Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, New Japan has been “very pleasantly surprised” with the advance numbers on the upcoming tour of Australia.
  • Jeff Cobb will be back as Matanza in the next season of Lucha Underground, though it may be to get written out, according to the Observer.
