Once again proving that everything in pro wrestling is a work, and if it isn’t, wait a while...
“We” are NXT ? Maybe the grass IS greener on the other side.

One mans heaven is another mans hell. I think maybe it’s time that i find my own heaven.
For the uninitiated, Lio Rush was a successful (and somewhat controversial) indie star. He won Ring of Honor’s Top Prospect Tournament in 2016 and signed with WWE last year, where he quickly debuted in NXT, including a couple television appearances. When Emma was released, Rush joked about it on Twitter and caught flak from inside and outside the company for it, before and after he apologized. That lead to reports he was being punished, and rumors he’d been released.
But he wasn’t. And now, in the wake of being soundly beaten by one of the black-and-yellow brand’s monsters on their Jan. 10 episode in a way designed to make fans aware of the Emma flap say “is he being punished?”, WWE released the above video and posted a story on their website about the above tweet, generating an angle around questions about his future with them.
Pro wrestling, everybody.
