Hell in a Cell

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Kevin Owens vs. Shane McMahon is expected to be the co-main event of Hell in a Cell, in that structure, and that's apparently been the plan all along.
  • Big Show’s hip surgery could signal the end of his in-ring career with WWE, though a retirement match isn’t out of the question.
  • Beth Hardy, Jeff Hardy's wife, tweeted that the decision to run Monday Night Raw live on Christmas was made by USA Network and not WWE.
  • PW Insider is reporting Ed Nordholm made the decision to send Jeff Jarrett on hiatus and it's apparently due to issues between the two and erractic behavior.
  • Insider is also reporting the GFW/Anthem merger isn't actually done yet and if Jarrett doesn't return the GFW name could be out once again.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
