Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.
Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.
We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.
Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - episodes 1 - 4 of the Mae Young Classic, the Aug. 28 episode of Monday Night Raw, Tuesday's SmackDown and 205 Live, NXT and Lucha Underground from Wednesday, Thursday's Impact Wrestling, ROH TV #310, and any other internet streaming wrestling that aired from Aug. 27 - Sept. 2, 2017.
Make YOUR mark, smarks!
Yeah, you voted for him.
Why wouldn’t you?
- SummerSlam unsurprisingly dominated the list, with the only man from the main event to miss the cut being Samoa Joe (fittingly, sadly).
- The four-time Raw Women’s champ support remains strong here, and both sets of new tag titleholders placed
- So did the Intercontinental champ, but that was probably for his work opposite John Cena and The Big Dog the night after the pay-per-view (PPV) as much as his pre-show trios win.
- Tuesday night got GLORIOUS, and you noticed.

Will that list grow beyond 88 names based on the last seven days? It’ll at least get rearranged some way. Consider Raw, Smackdown, 205 Live, NXT, Lucha Underground, Impact, and the rest of what the wild, wild web had to offer - then give us your faces.
We’ll do the rest.
