Elias’ World Tour collides with Titus Worldwide on No Mercy Kickoff

With only seven matches announced for this Sunday’s No Mercy pay-per-view (PPV), and since the Cruiserweight title match is hot enough to not be relegated to the pre-show for a change, WWE needed something to put on the Kickoff.

So here’s a bout between two dudes who have the word “World” on the shirts they wear to the ring!

It’s also a match between a couple guys who’ve been pretty steady presences in Raw’s midcard over the past couple months, Elias with his reliably heat-seeking schtick of running down the locals with a slightly off-key tune and Apollo Crews as part of the Titus Worldwide stable. It could the start of an interesting rivalry, or an indication of which wrestler might be ready for a little more high profile role.

Whatever it ends up being, it’s going down in Los Angeles at 7pm ET on Sept. 24!
