Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.
Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.
Rumors for the Day:
- The Observer is reporting those within WWE are saying Vince McMahon didn't blade before he went out and got headbutted by Kevin Owens, so no blood was planned, it just happened. That's what they're selling, anyway.
- The Four Horsewomen vs. Four Horsewomen feud is still planned and, per the Observer, multiple different ideas are being thrown out for it right now.
- Randy Orton vs. Rusev and Aiden English vs. Sami Zayn are likely for Hell in a Cell.
- The recent WWE survey on possible programming for the Network was just to gauge interest and not so much because anything is going to be developed at this time.
- The Observer notes there has been some internal pushback at the idea of another re-branding for Impact Wrestling but the GFW name appears to be out.
