Rumors for the Day:

• Rey Mysterio could still end up eventually signing with Impact, according to Konnan.
• Dolph Ziggler’s current routine of mocking entrances is leading up to a feud with Bobby Roode. The former NXT champ is being held off television until that program starts, likely around Hell in a Cell.
• WWE’s use of the Starrcade name is designed to boost ticket sales for the Greensboro, North Carolina house show, and specifically to counter the annual WrestleCade festival in nearby Winston-Salem that weekend.
• Emma’s absence from Raw this week was because she stayed in Australia to visit family after the brand’s tour, says PWInsider.
• There’s increased talk that Lucha Underground will not be picked up for a fourth season and the upcoming Ultima Lucha Tres will be the end of the show/promotion.
