Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.
Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.
We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.
Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - the Sept. 11 episode of Monday Night Raw, Tuesday's SmackDown, Mae Young Classic Finals and 205 Live, NXT and Lucha Underground from Wednesday, Thursday's Impact Wrestling, ROH TV #312, and any other internet streaming wrestling that aired from Sept. 10 - 16, 2017.
Make YOUR mark, smarks!
We’ve spent a lot of time marvelling over that Elbow Drop, and WWE has you covered with pics in her pirate gear, so let’s throw it back to when last week’s winner invaded Boyle Heights as part of a trio of ninjas!
- The eventual MYC winner edged out two wrestlers of considerably greater size to claim the week.
- She was also one of four women from episodes 4 - 8 in our Standings, including a hair-whipping developmental talent she defeated in round two, and a pair of unsigned young ladies who faced each other in the quarterfinals.
- The Pirate Princess was at the top of a really good week for Japanese talents, too... and all of them signed to WWE. You recognized The Artist for earning another shot at SmackDown’s top belt, and The Empress for her farewell to NXT.
- Freed from the U.S. title feud, The Prizefighter is gaining ground again in a competition he once owned.
- And people say smarks don’t like him, and that John Cena is winning their verbal battles, but The Big Dog still has his supporters here.

Where, support for The Guy is keeping him out front with a healthy lead. But something tells me a Monster Among Men will be closing the gap this month...
