Rumor Roundup (Aug. 2, 2017): John Cena plans, Becky Lynch injury, Great Khali, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Rumors for the Day:

• It seems the original plan was for Baron Corbin to interfere in the John Cena vs. Shinsuke Nakamura match, leading to Nakamura winning and setting up a match between Corbin and Cena. Instead, they decided to have Shinsuke win clean.
• Not surprisingly, then, Cena vs. Corbin may be the plan for SummerSlam before Cena moves over to Raw.
• There are continued rumors going around that Becky Lynch is dealing with some sort of injury but she may simply be banged up.
• Great Khali has been moved to the Alumni section on the WWE website, so he may not be appearing on TV again after all.
• Brandi Rhodes has apparently been removed from the GFW roster and is no longer with the company.
