Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Ronda Rousey is definitely doing something with WWE at some point, likely WrestleMania next year, and it could be a singles match against Charlotte.
  • Jinder Mahal vs. John Cena for the WWE championship has at least been talked about for SummerSlam.
  • The Observer notes Talking Smack wasn't cancelled because Vince McMahon didn't like the show but there was a segment he hated -- when New Day showed up on the show before ever appearing on SmackDown Live.
  • It's considered highly unlikely that Rey Mysterio will return to WWE right now, or anytime soon.
  • Now that Alberto El Patron is no longer a suspect in the domestic violence incident at the Orlando airport, it's expected he'll be reinstated by GFW.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
