Not to be outdone when it comes to global partnerships, Ring of Honor (ROH) revealed today they’ll be showcasing some of theirs on internet pay-per-view (iPPV) next month from an already announced date in Liverpool.

Along with stars from New Japan, Mexico’s CMLL and the United Kingdom’s own Revolutio Pro Wrestling, ROH is jumping into the busy SummerSlam weekend with an event which will stream on their website and via FITE TV’s website and app. Night two of the three show War of the Worlds UK tour takes place on Saturday, Aug. 19 and will show up on U.S. screens at 1PM Eastern time the afternoon before NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III.

Two matches are already announced. The headliner will see Cody defend his ROH World title against SANADA of NJPW’s Los Ingobernables de Japon faction. Tetsuya Naito, EVIL, BUSHI and Hiromu Takahashi from that group are also “signed to appear”, and Takahashi will take part in a 4-corner survival match for the ROH World Television Championship featuring titleholder KUSHIDA, Dalton Castle and Marty Scurll.

ROH’s first digital PPV broadcast from outside North America will be available for $19.99 on ROHWrestling.com or Fite.tv.
