Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Big bets have been coming in on Samoa Joe to win the Fatal 5-Way at Extreme Rules, leading to speculation he's been chosen as the next challenger to Brock Lesnar.
  • The Observer notes there has been some talk of Vince McMahon doing an episode of Table for 3.
  • The Usos and Naomi missed recent SmackDown Live house shows because they were filming a new TV show.
  • According to the Observer, The Usos, Naomi, and Randy Orton will all be missing house shows this weekend but will be back for TV.
  • WWE may be working more with PROGRESS and ICW going forward, including deals to put its programming on the Network.
