Impact Wrestling made Scott Steiner available for a media call today (June 28) to promote Slammiversary, as Big Poppa Pump will team with Josh Mathews against Joseph Park and Jeremy Borash on the July 2 pay-per-view (PPV)... and he went full Steiner.
In response to a question from Wrestling Inc. about the state of the wrestling business in 2017 and what changes he would make to improve it, the Big Bad Booty Daddy took aim at WWE - specifically executives Stephanie McMahon and Paul “Triple H” Levesque:
Yeah, the first few changes they need to get rid of Stephanie McMahon and Hunter McMahon. Cause they're two idiots that are running the whole place up there. It's like, I mean, I feel sorry for the wrestlers up there, they gotta follow the instructions of these two idiots that clearly don't know what they're doing.
People don't wanna watch it because the ratings are down and the reason why I call Hunter McMahon is because she obviously wears the pants. He's a ball-less walking around human being.
During a discussion about the Hall of Fame and WWE honoring past greats like Dusty Rhodes and Randy Savage with statues, Steiner would follow up his jokes/insults about Triple H’s masculinity with ones referencing rumors about Savage and Stephanie.
But none of that bad blood would prevent the former WWF tag champ from returning for a Hall berth of his own... on one condition:
Vince gets paid to, you know, put on a show. Yeah, pay me. Cause Vince is getting paid to show the program, I mean, you know. I ain't doing anything for free, he doesn't do anything for free. He wants, you know. So yeah, if the price is right.
Scott Steiner, ladies and gentleman.
