The second half of the third season of El Rey Network’s grindhouse pro wrestling mash-up Lucha Undergound rolls on tonight (June 28).

Catch-up on last week’s show with our recap & review here, and get a rundown of our favorite things about the episode in the Tope Ten here.

You might also want to check in with our Cup breakdown (even if some of Manolo and my picks are already off), as Dario’s latest scheme remains the focus of most of the action in The Temple right now.

Here’s what the network tells us is coming this week:

  • The Cueto Cup's first round continues
  • A new luchador arrives to the temple
  • Jeremiah Crane's jealously erupts

Based on those teases and LU’s social media, it looks like we’re getting Block C action tonight, so it’s snake vs. rabbit when Vibora faces Paul London, Veneno against Mil Muertes, Crane vs. Killshot and Taya locking up with Mr. Monopoly himself (that’s your occassional reminder you should watch Netflix’s GLOW), Joey Ryan.

The battle for the Cup continues at 8PM Eastern tonight, True Believers!

El Rey is available via the cable and satellite providers list on their webpage here. If one of those is your hook-up and you can't find the channel on your box, reach out to them and ask for it. If you don't see your provider listed or you've cut the cord, you can find El Rey on the streaming subscription services Sling (here) and fubo.tv (here). Or you can order the episodes on iTunes here. Seasons one and two are available on Netflix here.

NOTE: Spoilers are out there for these pre-taped broadcast, but many Cagesiders don't partake. If you are going to post or discuss spoilers for this show before they happen, or results of future shows, please use the spoiler bar in your comment.
