Rumor Roundup (June 24, 2017): Daniel Bryan wrestling, Rusev plans, Mauro Ranallo deal, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Rumors for the Day:

  • There's some word going around that Daniel Bryan had more testing done on himself within the past couple months and it may have gone well, hence the talk of him wrestling again when his WWE contract expires. It's not expected he will ever wrestle for WWE again.
  • Rusev could be in the US title picture shortly after his return to television.
  • According to the Observer, Mauro Ranallo signed a new contract with WWE to come back and work in NXT. He'll still be able to do Bellator.
  • On a recent podcast, Ryback claimed Dolph Ziggler has been wanting to work an angle with him through said podcast.
  • According to PW Insider, Billy Corgan's purchase of NWA will be going through now that trademark issues previously holding it back have been resolved.
