Rumor Roundup (June 21, 2017): WrestleMania 34 plans, John Cena, Rusev return, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • There's already speculation that if Roman Reigns gets a title shot at SummerSlam, that could mean he wins the title from Brock Lesnar and John Cena would be his opponent at WrestleMania 34.
  • The deal with free agent Cena, for the moment, appears to be that he'll still appear on most SmackDown Live shows but he'll also do some episodes of Monday Night Raw.
  • According to PW Insider, Rusev was at SmackDown Live last night but wasn't used. He should be back anytime.
  • WWE apparently has some big plans in place for Big Cass by the end of the year.
  • There's some speculation Rhyno and Heath Slater will no longer be a tag team going forward.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
