New Japan release Best of the Super Jr. 24 tournament match schedule, marquee matches for Dominion

Hot on the heels of last week’s announcement of the tournament field, New Japan have followed it up by showing us how all the matchups will be spread out over the course of the fourteen day tour. So, with the caveat that I’m only going to list matches that will be available on NJPW World, let’s dive right in, shall we?

Mostly expected rematches, but Elgin/Rhodes is an interesting twist (and scoops Big Mike’s own Glory Pro, who had announced that match for July 9), and Goto/Suzuki being a lumberjack match is an interesting choice. If you’re not familiar with NJPW lumberjack matches, they’re explicitly faction oriented, so each guy will come out with his respective posse and it generally creates a more directed environment than the traditional “empty the locker room” take on the match.
